Our Story
Drew and Rylee first met through a mutual friend at The Nodding Donkey, a bar in Uptown Dallas, in December of 2020. After some social media sleuthing, Rylee found “Dewey” on Instagram, who happened to send her a message within the hour. The very next evening, Drew and Rylee had their first date, which went exceptionally well- Drew even won his Thursday Night Football bet. Since then, Rylee and Drew have been all over the place together, from Tuscaloosa to College Station, San Diego, New York, and especially Paris. After spontaneously booking a trip to Paris, Drew bought a ring and despite her attempts to find it, kept it hidden from Rylee for the several months leading up to the trip. After finding our way around the ‘Jardin des Tuileries’, Drew popped the question and, against all odds, Rylee said YES!
